Broken Window

We've had our first broken window.

Sometime, and we have no idea when, SKGP was standing on a stool jiggering her radio, and she must have slipped and ran into the window. We found it last weekend when looking at some deer on the hill.

Only the inner pane broke, but it broke into several large jagged chunks. Fortunately, they stayed in the window and didn't cut off her arm.

I would've bet the Boy would have been the first to break a window.

Wild Blue Yonder

We're getting a plane.

The other week, my company's principal suggested we get one. Dad has always been reluctant to do something like this, since it might crash. But, we've been driving around this state a crazy amount, so it makes a lot of sense.

The plane is from Cirrus and it is very high tech. It has a built in parachute for the entire plane and airbags and all the latest radar and avionics stuff to keep us safe.

Ours should be here around the end of the month. DMP and I will begin working towards our pilots' licenses soon, too.

Snow

It's snowing at the PaceHouse right now!

I hope that it will stick around until morning, so that the kids can play in the snow for the first time in their lives. Even if it isn't here, it'll be at my parents for sure.

I can think of two other times in my life when it has snowed in the Valley, and the paper claims that the last time it happenend was in 1970.

MRI music

I had an MRI the other day. It is very loud in the tube, even with earplugs. The noise is regular. My brain tried to turn it into something ordered ... I was hearing music and chanting.

that's real industrial music.

Now this is a much better use of an MRI...
