RKCP vs the van

Around 2 o'clock this afternoon, I got a call from a panicing, upset RKCP. She needed me to pick the kids up from school because SHE RAN OUT OF GAS.

I successfully changed the windshield wipers on the van this morning.

We bought the blades at Costco yesterday, so I think this job saved us a bunch of money. It was harder than you'd think -- I had to try to figure out the geometry of the slots and tabs. The internet saved me (again).

I'm still happy with the car. I just washed it and vacuumed out the corn bread that EJP obliterated in it yesterday.

First Trip to the Dealer

I took the Hyundai to Smitty for its second oil change. He noticed that something needed to be smoethinged, at the dealer. Its not a big deal, but it makes me feel like I don't have a new car anymore. *sniff*
